When leaving Nassau, these will be the first cays on the route. Highbourne Cay has a popular marina and restaurant call ‘Zuma’ as well as fuel and a good anchorage just off the western coast. Iguanas live on nearby South West Allen’s Cay and are always curious when visitors arrive. They may look like miniature dragons but are not a threat to anyone. Just south of Highbourne is Norman’s Cay, famous for the sunken plane, a popular snorkeling site.
Norman’s Cay also has a runway if a guest needs to make a quick trip back to work, or friends are flying in mid-charter.
